The June 2026 issue of the Cappadocia Journal of Education (KAPED), published by the Faculty of Education of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University (NEVU), has been made available to researchers and readers.
NEVU Rector Prof. Dr. Semih Aktekin stated that, as a university specialized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in the field of “Natural and Cultural Heritage Tourism,” NEVU continues to produce scientific knowledge in the field of educational sciences alongside its studies on cultural heritage.
Aktekin stated that the Cappadocia Journal of Education undertakes an important role in the field of educational sciences with its approach to high-quality academic publishing in accordance with national and international standards, noting that the journal is indexed in various national and international indexes and continues to be monitored by TR Dizin. Emphasizing that they aim to strengthen the University’s academic visibility and scientific impact, Aktekin stated that KAPED makes significant contributions to these goals through its regular publication policy and high-quality scientific content.
Aktekin thanked all academics and researchers who contributed to the publication of the journal, particularly the editorial board, and stated that they continue to encourage the publication of original and high-quality studies in the field of education in the journal.
Current Educational Research Featured in the June 2026 Issue
The June 2026 issue of the Cappadocia Journal of Education includes original research articles on validity and reliability studies concerning sustainability education for gifted students; a structural analysis of the 2024 Primary School Turkish Language Curriculum in the context of design principles; an examination of bullying peer behaviors in children’s books for early childhood (ages 3–6); the phenomenon of national solidarity and brotherhood from family to school within the framework of values education; technology literacy and pedagogical reflections of pre-service elementary mathematics teachers through their Desmos experiences; and an evaluation of preschool teachers’ views on gender within the framework of anti-bias education.
The studies published in the issue, which address current topics concerning different levels of education, are intended to contribute to the accumulation of scientific knowledge in the field of education and to serve as a resource for a broad readership ranging from teachers and academics to education administrators and researchers.
